This is super dope! I love how crisp the mix sounds!

Sounds Dope Man!

I feel that some eqing is a forshure. the track is super ambient and relaxing which i like. i would advise to get a better snare sample and a better reverse cymbal and crash. maybe put some subtle reverb on all three. it also sounds like your kick i clipping around the rest of the mix. maybe lower the volume and add sidechain compression for more impact.

I thought That the overall chord progression was good. i just thought that it could be took alot further in terms of arangement and compostition. also, drop wasn't matching in key. some time spent learning a scale might help. also make sure your master track is under 0 db, otherwise, you'll clip. if you want a good volume level, mix the drums at -10 db and then set everything around it, as the drums are usually the highest volume in edm. i also suggest working on sample choice for the drums as they come out very weak and flat. if your drums arent loud enough, some subtle sidechain compression can work wonders.

Yeah well the drums are not supposed to be powerfull, it's trap, not dubstep (there's no Trap category on NG :/ )
Thanks for the review anyway :)

annoying..

this sounds like you can make good dub, but the drop is kindof annoying, try adding in different wobble synths and make them less gritty.

dude...

your fuckin amazing but u use the same synths in every song. mix it up a bit.

good....

this has potental to be a great song but the drop is so weak i have a hard time telling where it is. u should also make a little louder and add more punch to the drums. also i wouldnt consider this drumstep, this is dubstep.

DdyCat responds:

I personally like the drop, it's different and you can understand it.

And it is drum step because the tempo is 172, which is drum and bass tempo. Only difference is the drum beat is half timed.

Thank you for the comment and i will improve on these aspects. :)

hmm...

this needs a lot of work. u need to make a breakdown before the drop to add build up then the wobbles could use more variation and power. also the drum could more punch and more drive in the song. over all if u get a bit more experience u could polish into a decent track.

Thanks for the advice! Didnt want to have a prominent/heavy drop its more of a chilldub/ambient type i didnt want a heavy dubstep song..but more of a low groove. the full song is about 4min i cut it off because i haven't finished with the second half and the ending of this preview sounds alot different now. I also have the volume levels unmastered so things get drowned out. I'll be posting the full song this week hopefully.

nice

ive seen some of his vids. im gonna get high to this.

hmmm..

okay... few things wrong with this loop: 1.Tje quality is horrible, u should try to lower the distortion a little to make it better. 2. u should also work on making the riff more hardcore. it would grab peoples attention better.

SeeD419 responds:

yeah the quality is just awful

i make music... look at it
